2014 was the year an idea became reality. It was the idea of bridging talented students from Aalborg with top-tier industry companies and consulting firms. And it became reality through knowledge-giving and network-creating events with committed companies. 2014 was the year Aalborg Management Consulting Association was founded.
Inspired by similar associations in other university cities and a burning desire to explore the consulting industry, Michael Kristensen took the decision to found Aalborg Management Consulting Association in the spring of 2014. Soon thereafter, several Executive Board Members accompanied him to develop the organization, create awareness and build relationship with students and top-tier companies. Since its founding AMCA has come a long way, and at this point none of the founding members remain in the organization, but their entrepreneurial spirit lives on in what has shown to be a sturdy and dynamic organization.
